Cabernet Sauvignon GRAND RESERVE
The red dry wine is produced according to a special technology from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in oak cask for at least 16 months and at least 6 years in bottle.
Elegant, generous fragrance opens with fruity and spicy accents: black currant, cherry, blackberry, oak, chocolate and tobacco; subtle nuances, spices and light floral nuances: hints of violets, dried herbs and fresh mint.
The clean, rich, complex taste of the wine has a creamy texture, a deep core of currant, blackberry and plum notes, hints of herbs, coffee, licorice, stable tannins and a long, lingering aftertaste. A heavy Cabernet Sauvignon will drown out the taste of a light appetizer, so it pairs better with grilled or smoked meat dishes. It can be served with shish kebab, steak with mushroom sauce, quality cheese.
Prolonged storage in oak barrels enriches the wine with tannins and other tannins, which help to protect the wine from spoilage and disease during long-term storage. An additional factor (but not the main one) is that as a rule the wine is aged in barrels from the best grapes, which have undergone thorough hand-selection, which have matured properly, which have enough acidity. This also affects the quality of the wine after long storage.The recommended serving temperature is 12-14°C.
